BORN to Build, Inc. is a Non Profit Organization, which was created through inspiration and collaboration. Its overall purpose is to find out the needs and demands of people in the communities, and respond by offering programs and services to satisfy those needs and demands. BORN to Build also seek to work together with other organizations, businesses and churches that are servicing the communities, in order to make a combined impact in the community. The Vision of BORN to Build is to help build lives, homes and dreams, in order to make a positive difference for children, families and senior citizens in communities through the city of Detroit and other cities across the country. The Mission of BORN to Build is to cultivate long term economic growth and revitalization in urban communities by establishing “Community Centers for Creativity,” renovating and building housing for low and middle income families, creating jobs, and providing programs to improve the housing, educational, cultural, artistic, health and economic needs in the community.
